Howard Roth is a 30-year real estate industry veteran who was named Ernst & Young's new Global and Americas Director of Real Estate in 2008. With more than three decades of experience in real estate, Roth has worked extensively with
major real estate private equity funds, domestic and offshore real estate investment trusts, large public homebuilders, and construction and hospitality companies, advising them on
transactional analysis and acquisition due diligence. Roth is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey, New York and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Real Estate Roundtable and the Urban Land Institute.
Michael Straneva, CPA

Michael Straneva is a Partner in the Phoenix office
of Ernst & Young LLP and heads Real Estate Advisory Services'
Transaction Advisory Solution Team. He focuses on representing
companies, senior lenders and creditors in real estate workouts
and restructurings. Mr. Straneva is a CPA, State Certified Real
Estate Appraiser, and Certified Insolvency and Reorganization
Advisor. Mr. Straneva serves, or has served, on the boards of
such organizations as the Association of Insolvency Advisors
(AIA), National Association of Real Estate Companies, the Phoenix
chapter of the National Association of Office Parks and Industrial
Parks, and the Downtown Phoenix Partnership Development Corporation.
Mark Costello

Mark R. Costello was appointed to direct the firm's
corporate real estate practice in the New York area. This practice
is focused on strategic planning, property performance enhancement,
operation and cost reduction strategies, and business mobility
for major corporations in NY, NJ and CT. Mr. Costello has been
active in the commercial real estate industry for 18 years in
a number of capacities. Prior to joining EYKL, Mr. Costello
was Executive Managing Director with CB Richard Ellis, one of
three individuals charged with directing all aspects of that
firm's activities in the New York Tri-State area. In addition
to his management responsibilities, Mr. Costello advised many
clients on corporate real estate issues.
