John M. Guardiola, Vice President of Engineering

As Vice President, Engineering, Mr. Guardiola provides strategic engineering oversight for all engineering activities as well as assists onsite engineering staff as a technical resource for all assets across the national PPM Global, LLC portfolio.

In his 23-year career, Mr. Guardiola ha s supervised the building engineering management of over 10 million square feet of real estate, which includes office, retail, mixed-use projects and multi-family assets.
Prior to joining PPM Global, LLC, Mr. Guardiola served as the General Engineering Manager in the Detroit region for Hines Development Corp. and was responsible for the implementation and quality control of all corporate engineering efficiency practices and standards for over seven million square feet of Class A and retail space. He managed a staff of 38 engineering professionals that created and improved processes and engineering procedures.

Mr. Guardiola studied Mechanical Engineering at Lawrence Technological University, and holds a State of Michigan Residential Contractors License, First Class Refrigeration and Boiler Operators License, and a Professional Management Certificate from the American Management Association.

Mr. Guardiola is a member of BOMA, and the US Green Council where he is a certified LEED accredited professional.
